As a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, the Evesham Twp. Police Foundation (ETPF) relies solely on donations from members of the community, like you.
Every donation helps us fulfill our mission of supporting community programs implemented, as well as equipment needed, by the Evesham Twp. Police. Department.
With your donation, you assist the foundation in supporting the police department with programs like:
Fallen Heroes Softball Tournament
Every year, the Evesham Twp. Police Foundation hosts an annual softball tournament that aims to raise money to support Evesham Fallen Heroes. Money raised from the tournament is used to provide financial support to families of first responders injured or killed in the line of duty.
Money raised from the tournament is also used to purchase items that are not normally included in the Evesham Twp. Police Department's annual budget (such as Ice Cream with a Cop, Shop with a Cop, etc.).

"Shop with a Cop"
Every year, the foundation assists the Evesham Police Department in supporting "Shop With a Cop". This event allows officers to purchase gifts for children in our community who are in need and whose families may not be able to purchase gifts themselves.
The foundation provides financial assistance to the department for the purchase of gifts. Each participating family submits a list of gifts to the department and each officer takes time out of their day to personally shop for the gifts.

Junior Police Academy (JPA)
Every Summer, the Evesham Twp. Police Department holds a Junior Police Academy (JPA). The purpose of the Junior Police Academy is to provide young citizens with an introduction to Law Enforcement. The goal is to motivate young people to be outstanding citizens and empower them to act as a positive influence in our community. The academy provides an opportunity for officers and students to see each other as people, rather than as adversaries. It transforms the traditional role of the police officer into a mentor and a friend, while encouraging our young citizens to be partners in building safer schools and communities.
While the students that attend the academy may not want to become police officers in the future, the program instills a confidence and sense of achievement that will benefit them for years to come.
K-9 Funding
Through donations from community members, the Evesham Twp. Police Foundation recently assisted the police department in the purchase of their new K-9, K-9 Chief. These donations also assist the department in purchasing equipment for K-9 Chief and his handler.
The foundation continues to assist the police department in providing funding to purchase items for their K-9s which may not be included in the annual budget.
"Ice Cream with a Cop"
Every summer, the Community Engagement Unit (CEU) holds "Ice Cream with a Cop" events throughout the township. The events are a way for the police department to reach out to the neighborhoods within Evesham and meet the children in the community. These events help break down the barriers between police and children as well as make the officers more approachable.
The events also offer a way for officers to hear the questions and concerns of township residents.
"National Night Out"
Every year, the Evesham Twp. Police Department participates in "National Night Out", a nationwide event that is designed to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
The police department invites local businesses and organizations to set up tables at National Night Out as a way for residents to interact with both the police department and the rest of the community.
The foundation provides funding to the police department to set up a variety of games and rides for the community to enjoy during the event.
